Nutritionists agree that most diets aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. The problem isn’t really with diets. It’s with a lack of guidance after your diet.
Diet for kidney Disease
Your kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of your fists. They are located near the middle of your back, just below the rib cage. Inside each kidney about a million tiny structures called nephrons filter blood. They remove waste products and extra water, which become urine. The urine flows through tubes called ureters to your bladder, which stores the urine until you go to the bathroom. Most kidney diseases attack the nephrons. This damage may leave kidneys unable to remove wastes. Causes can include genetic problems, injuries, or medicines.kidneys remove waste matter and regulate the blood pressure and salt balance. When the kidneys don’t function properly, symptoms such as swelling, excess urination, shortness of breath and cardiovascular difficulties arise. If these problems are ignored, renal failure may set in leading to heart disease or even death. Along with the many treatments available to fight kidney disease, you can be proactive and follow a renal diet, eating certain foods that support healthy kidney function.
Diet in PCOS
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is typically earmarked by irregular periods or by no menstruation at all. Women with PCOS typically have multiple cysts in their ovaries, caused by an overproduction of hormones called androgens.

Diet for Acidosis or Acidity

- If your pH test suggests that your body is acidic, stich over to alkaline forming food like fresh fruits, water melon, mangoes, apple, guava, pears, vegetables like turi, dudhi, potatoes. Honey, dates, corns millets, mushrooms, raisins and curd have and alkaline effect.
- Avoid acid forming food like alcohol, coffee, legumes, tentils, cornstarch, white flour, no vegetarian foods, fried food, dried coconut, cheese, cakes, pastries, pasta, soft drinks, sugar, vinegar, pickles, papads, etc.
Diet for Constipation

Diet for Diabetes
Glucose is the basic fuel for the cells in the body and insulin takes the glucose from the body into the cells.
When a person has diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin (Type I) or cannot use the insulin produced as well as it should (Type II). This causes the glucose to accumulate in our blood and not get used up
Tips to prevent the same
- Snack on nuts and seeds like almonds, channas, walnuts, etc,
- Eat frequent meals containing adequate amount of proteins e.g. a breakfast of whole-wheat bread and egg.
- Avoid refined food such as maida, canned fruits, sharbats, etc.
- Avoid alcohol
- Pep up your fiber act. Go for wheat bread, brown rice, etc.
- Eat sprouts ever day. Rich in protein, calcium and nutrients they help increasing immunity and balance blood sugar.
- Increase intake of fruits and vegetables. Replace non-vegetarian food with lofer, whole dals and low fat curd.
- Switch to mono-unsaturated oils like olive oil, groundnut oil, etc.
Diet for Lactation
After the birth, good nutrition becomes all more important. It can make a difference in the quality of your breast milk. The lactating mother needs additional amount of almost all the nutrients like energy, protein, fat, calcium, vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, vitamin B12 and ascorbic acid.
